What data do you collect?

At Avila, we provide services with the goal of helping organisations succeed through quality recruitment. In order to provide these services, we collect the required information about our candidates and clients. Personal information includes information such as: name, contact details, geographic location, work experience, skills and future salary expectations. In addition to personal data, we collect data from recruitment, aptitude assessments and surveys. For online services and marketing, we collect anonymised usage data to improve our operations. What will my data be used for?

The data in the register is used for recruitment purposes to carry out direct searches, recruitments and suitability assessments requested by Avila Oy’s client.  We use cookies in our online services to ensure the most user-friendly experience possible. The data collected in marketing is used to develop and personalise our services.

How can I find out what information is stored about me?

In accordance with the law, data subjects have the right to be informed of what information about them is stored in Avila’s register. You can also correct, add or delete data. Any communication regarding the register can be sent to tietosuoja@avila.fi. You can find out more about the data subject’s rights in the register (section 9. Rights of the data subject).

Who processes the data?

At Avila, we process personal data in a way that aims to ensure the appropriate processing and security of personal data in all situations. Personal data is always confidential and is processed by the responsible parties of the Avila Recruitment Data Register and Avila employees involved in the recruitment process. All persons handling data in the register are bound by confidentiality obligations in accordance with the confidentiality agreement. We protect the data through firewalls, passwords, two-factor authentication and other technical security measures. You can read more about data processing in the Register (section 8. Your data is stored in the register of recruitment and psychological assessments when you participate in a recruitment, direct search or psychological assessment carried out by Avila on behalf of our client.

Register of the talent community and career services

When you apply for a job vacancy through our careers page, or add your profile to our talent community, your details will be added to the talent community and career services register.

Register of customers and decision-makers

In order to provide our services, we store our customers’ personal data in a register of customers and decision-makers.
